SO SHA, known on ccMixter as thatcrazylittleasian, is a Filipino-born, UK-based multidisciplinary artist — a singer, DJ, songwriter, and performer who describes herself as a "SingSkateDJ": she sings, DJs, dances, and emcees simultaneously, all while wearing roller skates. She is also neurodivergent and performs with a knitted pigeon named Pruu the Pidj (former pigeons who are on their on adventures include: Niklas the Pidj, Nicholette the Pidj)
Background
Originally from the Philippines, SO SHA studied BA (Hons) Songwriting at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance London (ICMP) First Class, currently UK-based. She joined ccMixter in May 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdown, encouraged by her friend Paul Pajo.
"It was the first time I really opened up as an artist to anyone other than my mum in the Philippines."
