Revision 6: mixter.plus
mixter.plus
mixter.plus (mixter.plus) is a multimedia creative library launched in 2023. It is the newer of the two platforms that make up the Mixterverse.
Overview
While ccMixter focuses on audio, mixter.plus expands the concept to include:
- Audio — Music, samples, and sound design
- Images — Photography, illustrations, and graphics
- Text — Writing, poetry, and lyrics
- Video — Clips, animations, and visual works
Mission
mixter.plus aims to be a multimedia creative commons — a place where all forms of creative work can be shared, remixed, and built upon under open licenses.
